Regular Meetings are held monthly every first and third Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Meeting Chamber of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center (CMGC) located at 600 East Fourth Street (lobby level).  Get a map

Informal Work Sessions and/or Closed Sessions are at 5:00 p.m. prior to each Regular meeting in Meeting Chamber Conference Room CH-14 (basement level).
 
Budget/Public Policy Workshops are held monthly every second Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. in Conference Center Room 267 of the CMGC (2nd floor).

 

Special Meetings are held as needed.

 

Exceptions: Regular Meetings are held every first and third Wednesday if there is a Monday Holiday. In July and August only one meeting will be held on the 1st Tuesday of each month.

 

All regular meetings of the Board of County Commissioners are Streamed Live (and Archived) on the Internet and televised live on cable 16, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Channel.

 

The meetings also are broadcast on tape delay on WTVI, channel 42 in Charlotte, N.C. The meetings are re-telecast on the government channel at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on the Wednesday immediately following the meeting and at 1 p.m. on the Sunday immediately following the meeting.
